Introduction

Foxes are omnivorous animals of the Canidae family that range in size from tiny to medium. They feature a flattened cranium with erect, triangular ears, a pointed, slightly upturned nose, and a long, bushy tail (brush).

Red foxes are incredibly widespread mammals in the fox family. They are the largest member of the true fox, or taxonomical genus Vulpes. Other true foxes include the Arctic fox, fennec fox, Bengal fox, and more.
